The Vampire Squid Strikes Again

Another fantastic article by Matt Taibbi in Rolling Stone magazine describing how the banks, used our cheap money to buy into other industries and the inevitable corruption that followed.  Scandals like the rigging of the aluminium market are only one part of this; what happens when the cheap money is cut-off and the banks can’t afford their involvement in commodities?

Incidentally, I was told by a regular reader of the FT that there was no need to read Rolling Stone as the FT coverage was so complete.  Hmm.
