Washington thinktank apologises for tweet telling Amnesty to ‘suck it’

The Guardian:

A Washington thinktank has issued an apology after telling the human rights group Amnesty International to “suck it” on Twitter.

After Amnesty International posted a tweet critical of America’s human rights record, someone with access to the Twitter feed for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Twitter account replied: “Your work has saved far fewer lives than American interventions. So. suck it.”

Of course, it was “the intern’s fault”.
