Slippery Johnson at it again

Evening Standard:

He [Johnson] drew laughter from the 6,000-strong crowd during the TV debate at Wembley Arena as he told pro-Remain Scottish Tory leader Ruth Davidson: “Because the EU is in charge of our trade negotiations we cannot export haggis to America.”

Except it isn’t true.  The last big televised debate of the referendum – the BBC Great Debate – and Johnson opts for an easy laugh based on a lie.

But if we vote to leave and go into a recession then he’ll apologise.  It’s all just words for Slippery Johnson, one just can’t see him thinking any of it actually matters.
